Chartered in 1945, The Vermont Association of REALTORS® serves over 1800 members who are building communities where they work, strengthening neighborhoods where they live and ensuring economic vitality for all Vermonters by helping them to "Unleash the Power of the American Dream."

As the "Voice of Real Estate", the Association is the bridge between local Boards of REALTORS® and the National Association, creating a solid network dedicated to keeping the profession vital.  We serve REALTORS® by developing and promoting programs and services that enhance the freedom and ability for members to conduct business successfully.  These services include:

Approved Real Estate Forms - allows members to conduct transactions efficiently, protecting the interest of all parties.

Education - a wide variety of classes including pre-licensing courses for both real estate and appraising, along with all the courses needed to renew and maintain a professional license.

Advocacy - through the efforts of our members, Government Affairs Committee and professional lobbyists, we endeavor to keep our industry vibrant by working on REALTOR® issues currently before the State Legislature and the US Congress.  We are the only recognized advocate for property owners, and promote and protect through collective action the individual's right to own, transfer and utilize real property.

News You Need - we keep members up-to-date on new laws and regulations affecting the real estate profession.

Member Information - we offer the required Code of Ethics Training which must be renewed each four years to maintain membership in the Association. A thorough Orientation Program gives new members all they need to get off to a good start as a professional in the industry.
